About Stay

Day 1

Check In at Choti Haldwani Homestay at 12 noon.

On arrival we serve you with some refreshing local drink made of herbs and fruits. Settle down at the AC cottages surrounded by Jungle or Farms with lots of birds chirping throughout the day. Have your freshly prepared hot lunch.

Fresh home cook lunch would be served with mostly home-grown vegetables, pulses and rice. Enjoy the local pahadi food and take a power nap to get ready for the Exciting Guided Iron foundry Trek. Our guides are very experienced and share lots of exciting and thrilling stories of their encounters with wild life. They will also help you with identifying birds, local herbs and the history and stories of the place. Some adventurous things to do is to have a dip in the canal (Please do so as per the instructions by our guides under their supervision. *Conditions apply).

In the evening visit the local panchayat, have a heritage walk, watch a puppet show (*please note the puppet show is done by school children so during the examination period we don’t disturb them from studies) or enjoy cultural evening performed by the local community and enjoy evening tea and snacks followed by local dinner (Veg/Non-Veg).

Day 2

Early Morning Safari to start the day. Enjoy the Jeep Safari and explore the inner part of the Corbett National Park or try Boar river trek in the morning

Hot Breakfast would be ready by the time you come back from the Safari.

After the breakfast, you can visit the Corbett Museum where Mr. Jim Corbett used to stay with his sister Mary. We suggest you take the guide who can tell you the untold stories of his life and journey. And do not forget to shop from the local Handicraft Shop supported by the villagers.

Get your hands on Tractor and farming and try some on-field activities like climbing a tree, tractor driving and so on.

Have your lunch which is hot , local and delicious.

How to Reach

Nearby Railways station and Bus terminus is Kathgodam. It is around 30 minutes drive from Kathgodam. Roads go till the homestays.

Pantnagar airport is the nearest local airport ( 50 KMs) and New Delhi airport is the nearest international airport (264 KMs).
