Nagthat has many natural, historical, mystical
and mythological point of attractions in and around.
Near Nagthat is village Bishoi and this village
host a beautiful temple made of rocks and wood of Mahasu Devta. It has its own
beliefs. It’s a good place to be at. The village is small, and this temple is
in the middle of the village surrounded by old Garhwali wooden houses.
Another attraction is a 270-degree view from a
cliff. You can see the river Yamuna flowing along with villages and valley view
with the backdrop of the mighty Himalayan Peaks.
There are few villages nearby and some local
seasonal waterfalls which are must watch when in their glory.
Guests over here can trek to nearby sunrise
point and sunset points. These are light treks of around 1 to 2 hours from the
stay and it gives u a 360-degree view of the entire area.
There is a red cross health centre from the
British era.
There are some adventure sports like
rappelling, jumaring, etc. that can be done under our expert from NIM.
There are nearby villages with farms where you
can experience real Indian village life. You can experience the life style of
Indian villages, their daily routine and how they live their life. Its an
amazing experience altogether.
There are many interesting places near to
Nagthat
First in Chakrata region is the Tiger Falls. It
is said to be one of the highest direct waterfall in India. It is around one
and a half hour of journey from Nagthat.
Mussoorie is called the “Queen of the Hills”.
Mussoorie is just a couple of hours drive from Nagthat. The famous points in
Mussoorie are Lal Tibba, Gun Hill Top not to forget a walk in the Mall Road.
The view from the Mall road is of Dehradun Valley.
There is Koti Kanasar. Its kind of a plateau in
the chakrata hills.
